Overview
This event will be held at the NH Belfort Hotel in Ghent, Belgium, a short train ride from Brussels. Preconference workshops will be held on May 30, with plenary and breakout sessions on May 31-June 2. Attendees will enjoy both educational and networking opportunities. At the Annual Business Meeting IAA members will hear reports on the state of the association and elect new board members.
Theme
The conference theme, Anaplastology: Beyond the Horizon, will focus on the expanding range of services of anaplastologists, forged by emerging advanced technologies and new demands in the medical field.

Anaplastology and Those Who Will Attend
Anaplastology is an allied health field that provides custom prosthetic rehabilitation for absent, disfigured, or malformed facial and body parts. The conference is an annual opportunity to meet both with the leaders in the field of anaplastology and the entire medical rehabilitation team from 20 countries from around the world. The event is a form for learning about new developments in surgical techniques, medical devices, materials, methods, and information through lecture presentations, hands-on workshops, and demonstrations.
