Surgical Instructor:
Pr. Anders Tjellstrom M.D., Ph.D, D.SC.hc
Dr Tjellstrom received his medical education at the University of Gotenborg, Sweden. In 1972 he joined Professor P.I. Branemark and in 1979 he performed the first surgery for an implant-retained craniofacial prosthesis. He has published more than 150 scientific papers mainly in the field of implantology. Recently he was presented an honorary doctors degree from Chalmers University of Technology.

Dr. Kerstin Bergstrom CDT, MDhc
Certified Dental Technician, 1980. Awarded Honorary Doctor of Medicine at the University of Gothenburg, 1996. Honorary Member of the British Facial and Audiological Implant Group. Responsible for the Facial Prosthetic work at the Department of Otolaryngology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden. She is also a Board Member of the Biomaterial Research Club, Gothenburg. Kerstin has been involved since the beginning with the Team of Professor Per-Ingvar Branemark and Professor Anders Tjellstrom. She has introduced and developed the technique of Osseointegrated Retained Facial Prostheses since 1981. She has published over 25 scientific papers and book chapters and has conducted numerous International Workshops and has lectured worldwide at International Congresses on Osseointegrated Facial Prostheses. Invitations for treating patients with OI Facial Prostheses to 28 Clinics worldwide between 1985 and 2010.
Jan De Cubber, CCA, CDT
After his training in dental, facial and orthopedic prosthetics, Jan De Cubber became an expert in prosthetics with international fame. His devoted research and development in the chemistry of silicone lead to many new techniques and medical aids. He was the founder of “Silicone House”. Currently he focuses his attention on the Centre of Craniofacial Epithetics. This centre has become one of the biggest facial units in the world, with satellites in Gent (B), Maastricht (NL) and the central lab in Brussels (B). They focus strongly on implementing 3-D technology into their routine production protocols.
Peter Evans, MIMPT
Peter is well renowned in the field of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, being part of a team that pioneered the use of Craniofacial Implants in the UK for retention of Maxillofacial Prosthetics. Studying Maxillofacial Prosthetics in London in 1987 he moved to Wales to join the Welsh Craniofacial Implant Team. He is presently Head of Prosthetic Maxillofacial Rehabilitation at Morriston Hospital, Swansea. His main areas of interest include facial prosthetics for children, craniofacial implantology and 3D modeling and imaging. Peter is a Director on the IAA Board of Directors, a member of the IMPT and a founding member of CARTIS.
Anne-Marie Riedinger, MA, CCA
Anne-Marie graduated in Medical Art in Strasbourg, France in 1982 and was trained in the field of Facial Prosthetics at the University of Illinois in Chicago, USA. She is a Certtified Clinical Anaplastologist since 2007 ( BCCA ) and an Anerkannten Epithetikerin since 1997 ( IASPE ). She speaks fluently French, English and German. She was a pioneer in France to use Branemark Osseointegrated Implants since 1986. She runs the Laboratoire d’Epitheses Faciales in Strasbourg and works with Dr Françoise Firmin in Paris. Her main areas of interest are Craniofacial Osseointegrated Prostheses and Medical Models. She taught at the Ecole Superieure des Arts Decoratifs de Strasbourg ( 1996-2000 ) in the Medical Art Department. She has lectured in many International Conferences and has written a number of articles about Clinical Anaplastology and techniques. She has also given international workshops in the field. She is currently the President of the International Anaplastology Association and has organized the first International Conference in Europe for the IAA in Paris, 2009. She is also the President of the Syndicat des Epithesistes Francais.
