Certified Clinical Anaplastologist Michaela Calhoun and Board Certified Ocularist Will Lakey (Prosthetics at Graphica Medica, Minnesota, USA) will discuss their workflow and techniques for designing and fabricating an ocular prosthesis to be integrated within an orbital prosthesis, allowing for optimal symmetry. Discussion will include important considerations such as, but not limited to, optimal orbital cavity and tissue management planning, ocular shape, recording color and photography, measuring and planning position, sculpting and retention of the ocular within the silicone, and mold design.
