The same silicones, primers, acrylic materials, mold materials, scanning technologies, etc. are not accessible everyone at the same cost or frequency, if they are available at all. Many prosthetists around the globe must get creative and organized when it comes to sourcing materials, and sometimes the design approach must be modified when certain materials are out of reach or not suitable for a patient’s availability for appointments or long-term care. This webinar/roundtable discussion combo event aims to provide some available resources and open up the conversation to practicing clinicians to share with each other about how to troubleshoot material accessibility and sustainability.
