

ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES Abstract Submission Deadline: EXTENDED to March 15, 2023
INSTRUCTIONS All abstracts must be submitted via the Call for Abstracts form on the website. >> CLICK HERE to access the 2023 Abstract Submission Form. Please make sure to select "Oral Presentation" from the top drop down box when submitting.
Abstracts must be 300 words or less. Please ensure that you proofread all presentation names and contributor names. These items will be printed in the Conference Program.
- Title: Maximum 120 characters.
- Authors: Submit all authors full names and institution affiliations for each author. A maximum of 10 authors will be allowed (if more than 2, upload supplemental documentation via the abstract submission form).
- Abstract Summary: The summary should be a maximum of 300 words. It should be structured containing Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions
- Indicate up to 3 keywords matching m words or phrases identifying the summary content ).
- Upload supplemental documentation as needed.
- Include Ethics Committee approval, if relevant.
- Disclose any conflicts of interest
Selected presenters will be notified March 15, 2023. Time allotments are limited and papers will be selected based on scientific content, submission date and available time.
PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
- Oral presentations will be given a 15-minute time allotment followed by a 5-10 minutes Question & Answer period.
- Presenters will be assigned a designated presentation time in the conference program, on either June 16th or 17th, 2023. At that time, presenters will deliver their slide presentations live (in person). If your abstract is accepted and you have a specific date or time when you are not available to present, please notify the IAA about your availability. Email Rachel Brooke at [email protected].
- Accepted slide presentation file types include: Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, PDF.
- ALL slide presentation files must be submitted to the IAA by June 5th, 2023. Email your files to [email protected].
Should you need to update your presentation files prior to presenting, please inform Rachel Brooke, Executive Director, as soon as possible when checking in at the conference site.
- Please indicate if your slide presentation includes any links, video, or audio files that you wish to access during your presentation.
- IAA conference representatives will communicate with presenters to ensure all submitted files are received and uploaded to the platform successfully.
HOSTING & ACCESSIBLITY
Presentations will be delivered and attended in-person. All presentations will be recorded. The recorded video will be accessible only to registered attendees for a period of 2 weeks following the live conference sessions.
Videos can only be accessed by individuals who registered for the conference. Registrants will be required to enter a password, as well as their full name and email address in order to open the video recording. These access requirements enable the IAA to ensure only registered attendees are viewing the recorded content.
All conference registrants must agree to the terms of the Conference Participation Agreement, which prohibits the reproduction or dissemination of any content presented without prior written consent of the presenter and a representative of the IAA Board of Directors.
REGISTRATION Accepted abstract oral presenters are required to register, pay conference fees and receive no compensation. All presentation authors must confirm attendance by April 15, 2023.
AWARDS The Da Vinci Award (For the Presentation of Exemplary Case Results) and the Conference Presentation Award (For the Best Presentation) will be awarded. The winner is determined by ballot submissions received by all attendees from the Main Conference.

POSTER GUIDELINES
- Please prepare one high resolution PDF of your poster.
- Please prepare one 3-5 minute explanation of your poster in a video file. You can do this using a cell phone, tablet etc. You may have your face on screen if you choose OR you can simply show the poster on camera and narrate your explanation with just your voice. This video will accompany the PDF of your poster on the 2023 IAA Conference website.
- In order to ensure that your poster PDF is preloaded onto the website, we ask that you send your poster presentation files to [email protected] by June 10, 2023. Indivduals who finalize their posters after this time are not guaranteed that it will be uploaded by the start of the conference.
- Accepted presentation file types include: Video (.mp4 or .mov) and PDF of Poster (.pdf)
- Information regarding delivery of your physical poster to the conference site will be update here soon.
POSTER ID & TITLE Poster ID numbers will be assigned to each presenter. The poster title must be exactly the same as that used in the abstract and be written in capital letters.
AUTHORS & AFFILIATIONS The names of the authors should be placed below the title and should follow the same order of the presentation in the Abstract.
The presenter must be the first author of the work and identified by the asterisk. In the top right corner, the presenter should place a recent photo. Authors should be indicated by surname followed by initials, separated by commas (Example: Makrakis LR*, Araujo C, Barbosa A). The name of the department, institution, city and sate of origin should be placed in lower case, below the names of the authors.
AWARDS The Poster Presentation Award (For the Best Presentation) will be awarded. The winner is determined by ballot submissions received by all attendees from the Main Conference.
